Unusual/Interesting places.

Recommended Posts

Does anyone ferret any unusual / interesting places? Not that fascinating, but i added a Garden Centre, Playing fields and Flood defence system to my list today. And was just wondering if anyone did / has done, any unusual/different permissions or even just sets/patches? Pics would be great.

Aye mate, i got a couple of barns and an old hawk mews which are indoor, and a few gardens. One permission has a proper castle on it, but there are no warrens there  which is a shame as it would make a nice back drop.

one of my faveroute pics is not on photbucket,,,, the warren was under and in a jump on a horse raceing course, we had rabbits bolting out from under it,,,, then rabbits coming out 3 foot high , after we finished the dog was still strongly marking high up,,, she wouldn;t leave it,,, ferrets couldnt find it,,,,, you then start dowting the dog.... she then entered herself feck knows how she got in but she did and out shot the rabbit like bullet landed about 6 inches from the longnet , streght in , another 6 inch and it would have been over the top

here she is under a wood plie marking a kill

heres the kill on the other side of the pile under the pallet

all this was next to a container all in the same garden as the other pics

Thats a very good point about the other side of hedges, i hadn't thought of that! Bit of a f****r to carry about though if your on foot! Tend to just rely on the mutts.

I've done a few of those containers, its always funny to watch the rabbits trying to dodge the ferret above ground. without leaving the saftey of the container.

I wish my garden was as productive as that tho! I have one set i have been nurturing, much to the dogs disgust, and now its fairly healthy.

yes there a bit of carry on them containers,,, i think because its NOT confined underneath the rabbits can dodge the stinkers, somtimes you here them rattling and banging for ages.

yes there a pian to carry , but as you can see on that land we could drive right up to the warrens,,,, on one set it did come in handy as there was a high fence with one hole the other side wich did catch
