chimp 299 Posted March 15, 2011 Report Share Posted March 15, 2011 busting some rabbits last night and this fella got up , i think it was the same one we had seen the week before on the same field with its vixen we shot, mate is well chuffed as his chickens are 500 yards away. eye shot with hornady ballistics done the job well but i think a box of FMJ's are in order for them really. I dont feel quite so bad now when I go out :whistling: ended up giving the rfle to the farm hand and let him shoot all night with it , first time out with a rifle and he was banging em over. its nice to head shoot them but at the end of the day its a dead rabbit and i wont be eating them , just means i cant leave em in the motor over night coz the stink just gets too much :sick: Quote Link to post

Everybody starts somewhere i only picked my .22 rimmy up saturday first propper rifle and i am and will aim for the chest until i know the gun properly then try to improve on my skills at shooting.
