ROBERTO M 350 Posted May 30, 2011 Report Share Posted May 30, 2011 Just before he bred Blondie Alan told me he was going to use Nipper because he'd seen him run 5 different hares off the one slip and he never looked like jacking. Seen Dancer winning the Temple Bruer, with 4 out of 5 just after a 5 week lay off due to injury and the double handed and Forley cup on consecutive weekends. All this with a severed tendon in a foot, which she suffered at 6 months. She was a bitch that had class written all over her. Seen Blondie run in 3 Forley cups and some none competition days and I don't remember seeing a better dog around cover. Blondie was one of those bitches that was totally convinced she could catch any hare no matter how long the slip and no matter where it ran to. Seen her crash into thick cover and continue the hunt unseen until the hare broke back out and kill it in the open right in front of us. This bitch stands out for me of all the memories I have from when we used to live in a free country. Terrific post. I saw Blondie win the Millenium ,and though I was rooting for my mate Gary's Red ,you couldn't take anything away from Blondie , as Gary said ,she deserved it. the reoson y alan used foxeys brother nipper was to strengthen the pure blood and to give substance it worked with blondie but alan will tell u dancer was a once a fortnight bitch while foxey matched twice a wk i coursed with both men , Do you honestly think Alan would of kept a dog that he could run once a fortnight,you say you ran with him , if you no Alan at all , you will no he wouldnt keep a dog he couldnt run lol or is this another just coursing load of bollox ?????
