Karpman 44
Hey guys, As you know I have a S200 that I am a tad keen on, Well I also have a little bit of permission. It's a rugby club spanning 4 pitches and a small copse. I am down there most mornings mole trapping before work, Picking a little litter and helping to keep the place tidy, This I do to keep my permission. As one could imagine you can't shoot the land all the time , But good god do'es it hold some rabbits. I have been trying to hold off Bugs for a couple of months, But and ain't there always a But. I have been getting more than a little pushing to clear a few, So tonight off I wobbled. I left the house at 8.10pm arrived at my perm by car around 8.20PM The gate was open so I crawled the old diesel through, Within seconds bugs was in the headlights 3 sitting around 50-60 yards. I crept forward slowly ever so slowly barley lifting th clutch no acceleration. The yards seemed to take am age to cover! 45, 40, 35. Right dam zero range and bugs is still sitting tight. Grabbed the S200 off the back seat thumbed a pellet neatly into the breach, Slowly eased the door open bugs sat tight. Withing seconds I was prone S200 sitting proudly on the new Bi pod all the way from eastern worlds, The cross hairs slipped over the napper but I could not settle adrenalin was pulsing through me. Bugs hunkered down but was still clearly in view. I squeezed Thawck It bounced and writhed for only a second not as clean as I like a little low but was still by the time I reached it! Bugs is now sitting in a salt bath in My fridge, I could of shot more but was happy and the powers who be will also be happy Sorry no photos the bloody Nikon D50 is on the blink so I have had to save the pelt to show the powers and make my excuses for just the one. A well chuffed Karpman Quote Link to post

Karpman 44
Nicely done, mate!! The first of many, no doubt Haha Indeed and first for a long time! Trying to give them a little breeding space, But need to show a bit of willing or they will have them ferreted. I assured them I would be very unobtrusive *some folks don't like to see em being splatted and theres always folks around in the day* It will be eaten and not wasted though! Karpman 44
Thanks for all the kind words guys, The Rugger club could work out to be an excellent larder for me, I'm trying not for complete assassination as time and permission is short at the minute lol. Hoping to just keep doing enough to keep them happy, Theres a few rats to go at as well. Due to there location there gonna be trapped though. Will get some photos up of the Rifle soon, Managed to acquire another camera body off the father in law, Chuffed with the stock and the Bi pod and she is dressed with a MTC cobra scope, Feels like a proper no thrills hunting tool now. Numerous pigeons and now a rabbit under her belt! Off for a shine with the pup soon time for him to half hour an hour of fun! Karpman Quote Link to post
