Do a search, I bet there is a lot of info about it knocking around.

 

You will probably want the dimmer switch if you intend on doing any close range work with it.

The tracer is the better lamp,, and it wieghs bugger all!

check ebay,, I picked up my max pro variable with the battery pack new for 50 bucks, (secondhand but unused)

And the mounting bracket is about 4 times smaller and lighter than on the cluson thingy above.

personaly i would use/go for the Cluson, had one for a couple of years now got it on special at the newark show 3 years ago, still going strong an its used at least 4 times a week even if its just walking the dog LOL or hunting, an it came complete with battery an red filter it does what it says on the tin so to speak
