watchman 256
when your times up for re-newing do they get in touch with you or is it down to you to go through the procedure yourself? Quote Link to post
matt_hooks 188
They are supposed to send you a reminder, but it's probably best to get the forms in sooner if possible, to avoid the possibility of being in unlicenced possession of firearms. Give them the chance to get it turned round in time. If you've given them loads of time, and they still don't get it done in time you've got a good reason to get shouty and tell them you'll need a temporary cert to cover you, whereas if you wait til the last minute, you could end up having to put the guns in storage.
