ade33uk 86
My boxes are made up from Birch ply, fitted with protex toggle catches, not cheap screwfix ones and zinc plated 100mm tee hinges, the boxes are all painted inside and out.PM me if you want any more details. Cracking boxes , They look the dogs bollocks but unless your charging about £30 - £40 how can you make any money on them ,well done to you if you can though . Quote Link to post
micky 3,325
I have heard good reports about the boxes that moxey produces and the photos look impressive.....I also had the pleasure of seeing a box built by micheal (the farrier) recently and i was pleasantly suprised by the build quality and attention to detail....definatly a box built to last,Micheal also does a range of custom car carry boxes and terrier boxes.....im sure either one of the above will do you proud....atb Quote Link to post
michael flatters 2
The large double or triple boxes are £30 they are 570mm long, the regular double or single is £25 postage is £8.50.The box in Mickeys picture is a regular double. The large double is in my opinion the best box. ade33uk 86
fair play thats not bad for the materials your using must take you a good hour to make as i can see the joints are all screwed aswell, I knock out cheap ones for my mates using wire clasps and staples ,small hinges , pinned joints and any old strap i can find , they do the job ... moxy 617
Hi can either of you make me a smallish box, just wanting it for my two pollie jills. I also have back problems so dont want anything too large The smallest box i could do you would be a single im afraid. I cant downscale the size of my double box it wouldnt be fair on the ferrets. The ply we both use is lightweight. I cant speak for michael but im sure his box's are as light as mine Just choose the box you like the look of Quote Link to post
JPTfellterrier 65
ah thanks for that, how much for a single? My two jills dont seem to like being seperated so was concerned a double may stress them out a little Quote Link to post
heritage 202
You cant downscale the size of your boxes because it wouldnt be fair on the ferrets......
