blackpack 70
Well today was the day that bird (Ray) came up to my area to meet up, i saw a post that Ray went out of his way to help out a feller with a dog and travelled a fair way, well i thought to me self must be a sound bloke so i invited him up my way. We have spoken on the phone for the last week and each day he was becoming a good friend and a very knowledgeable man on his dogs. Well ray turned up today as agreed at 8:30am, with his dog Bryn, Had some brekkie then set off on some land i have, with Rays Bryn, and my terrier and Charm, from the word go Bryn was the dog Ray spoke about on the phone, an absolute dream of a lurcher, very quick off the mark, and in all my years seeing lurcher's, i have never seen a dog mark like that, he must of marked around 20 + burrows and he actually dug out six and bolted the bloody things to my lurcher, to top off the day Bryn marked a 3 holer and started to dig down and nailed the rabbit on the run. I have met a decent and true friend in Ray, he is a credit to this site and a top man on his dogs and the quarry we hunt, im a bit miffed as he wouldn't leave Bryn for a few weeks but maybe next time you will Ray ha ha . Cant wait now for the season to get up and running and watching Bryn on the lamp, also i know Ray will love it up this way, a big thank you Ray, speak very soon. Pictures as promised  1 Quote Link to post
