Squirrel_Basher 17,100
Lamping last night with the wife on the lamp .Weve tried all week to get a fox for my boy whos put in a lot of time on paper targets with the .243 as well as every night up until 9.30pm as he has school .Seen a lot of foxes but nothing for a starter shot if you know what i mean .Last night he decided to stay in on the playstation, the other passion of his but the wife wanted to go out anyway as shes got the bug too .Went to a place that produes the odd fox and damn me if one didnt come screaming in from at least 1/4 a mile away.Ran all the way ,over a stream and through a flooded field to arrive in our field and keep coming up a slope to us where i was waiting on the 'pod and shot him on the run at 40 yards .
