Macky 227
I have been watching lately these topics about the wrecking crew ,and people wingeing and whining about dogs being paired up personnaly I think single handed dogs are a one night wonder ,wondering if they are going to be going out the next night .its nice to know people can go out with video cameras and show what their dogs can do ,i dont see many single handed dogs on camera credit to the lads so a topic could be brought up and discussed .and a credit it to the camera man you know what i mean busher by the way i know they had had 14 foxes with 4 dogs 3 with one pair ,11 with the other on the 14th november would a single handed dog have done that or anywhere near it ? Depends if its just about the numbers. Would you rather catch 8 fox with two dogs or 4 with 1? Different things for different folk, nights, situations. Quote Link to post

And some dogs are good enough to receive minimal wounds. Me personally, its about a better bag, and thats not always bigger, obviously once you've cracked it you can go for more of the best, but i'd rather see one dog take something fit and strong in a great and challenging run, than watch two dogs or even one dog take three that just stood there. If it was just about the numbers we'd just use a rifle 4 Quote Link to post

hickymick 37
i dont think its down to doubbled up dogs myself why would they just take one dog out?nd watch that run?4 people in car with a dog each??? maybe they share runs?maybe all the dogs can do it single in motor???,but if they run them single they may only get two runs all night maybe thats why they run them doubbled up??,just a thought,???as i have not seen this wrecking crew thing..or know much about them just my guess,,,like hare coursing pre ban it was two dogs in waterloo cup,not on single dog but they could run single if they liked..just my theory 1 Quote Link to post
