DDD 4
Went through the wood today with the keeper, bugger all about. Did see some fresh scrapings around the wood edge, similar to rooting up by boar (spent a lot of time in Germany & know the buggers first hand, especially when the trash your car). As to the noise - no idea!! Quote Link to post
swamp thang 16
Ha ha Oh yes.. Fear of the Arse-less Gilly suited critter is the beginning of wisdom. Furthermore, Ask not for whom the Arse-less Gilly Suit stalks, for it might be stalking thee. Quote Link to post
tsteve9999 456
Let us know if you ever find out for sure just what made that odd noise, DD. I wonder though, if some practical joker with a tape recorder and loud speaker could have made that racket to mess with your mind for some reason. I imagine that a recording of selected other-worldly sci-fi sound track snippets, amplified real loud at night, would do a good job of spooking the wildlife as well as whoever happened to be about at the time No idea what it was but it would be a good laugh if someone could arrange to have maybe a tape of a lion roaring played through a loudspeaker while out with mates, I'll bet some would need fresh kegs.
