Ferrets gestation is between 40-44 days average of 42 days, kits usally wean them selves at about 2-4 weeks by copying mum.

why dont you go to the library & see if they have got a book you can read

Just a warning, they are hard work, not always do a pregnancy goes to plan as people of here will tell you, cost an arm and a leg to feed, and sometimes really hard to get rid of, but im only giving you a little bit of advice mate

how do they expect me to know, you have to start somewhere, i thought i would post her becoz it full of experienced people. but i see it has it part of snobs, which think they are superior

 

 

No snobs,there are far too many ferrets and to few responsible owners.from what ive seen members say,alot of people bread ferrets and alot end up in rescues or dumped somewhere

Its not a case of people being snobby or a case of people being superior..... If you are a responsible person (and i am not passing judgement) then you would learn about these things first. You would not drive a car without first learning to drive..... The best book i can recommend is James Mckay. This is full of information from housing to illnesses and everything in between. One other thing..... There are alot of people on here with alot of knowledge, but you wont get any help on here with the big I am attitude. Treat people and their views with respect and most of the time you will get it back.
