never started a topic before hope it looks alright iv seen a few dogs run in my time and heard of these dogs but never seen one did you and is their a dvd

there called plummer terriers mate endless staying power and speed 7/7 no problem

 

on a real note iv seen some long courses but 5 - 6 min at top speed na never seen anything close to it

know what yea meen but yea hear of these dogs that can keep the presure on for five or six minutes non stop seen dogs do it for 3 or maybe 3and half but the dogs i seen run longer than that were clever dogs up the gears and down dont honestly know if it would be possible to keep the presure on any longer like to see it

What you have been told about might be the salukis the arabs use. They can run for 5-6 mins but its not at greyhound speed although its quite speedy for such a long run.

 

If that were possible then either greyhound races would be longer or they would race the same dog 7 or 8 times a meet.

But thats how they keep the pressure on by going up and down the gears and when they do this with the right dog and the right hare lol you can get 5,6,7 minute courses
