Ideation 8,216
Thats the most collie'ish whippet i've ever seen. But then mine did look like a staff as a pup Looks lovely mate, will be interested to see her grown, i do love a good whip (they are massively underestimated i think). Definately no collie mate lol,I do alot of ferreting as you know mate, hope shes not a shiverer I wasn't suggesting she was mate, but i bet in the future you will get folk asking if she is a pup out your other dog! In my opinion they make ideal ferreting dogs, and with the work take to the game very well, their small size, good initial pace and great nose means that they are very handy about the holes. Natural markers, mine doesn't shiver, has exceptional prey drive. My one complaint against the breed is they can be moany little b*****ds They have great personalities as well. Also like i said - underrated, mine retrieved his first fox (a large dog) at about 10 months. I quite like cass, or meg/star/strike/moss/milly/mini/ etc But cass is good. Quote Link to post
Ideation 8,216
'Get on him cass, get on him cass, get on him, go on girl' has a nice ring, better than 'Get on him peggy, get on him peggy, get on him, go on girl" Quote Link to post

Gaz_1989 9,539
That pup is a ringer for my sal/whip/grey when he was a pup. Exact same colour and markings. The amount of times I hear "nice collie/grey mate". Lol. All the best. Gaz. Quote Link to post
