Thats the most collie'ish whippet i've ever seen. But then mine did look like a staff as a pup :laugh: Looks lovely mate, will be interested to see her grown, i do love a good whip (they are massively underestimated i think).

Definately no collie mate lol,I do alot of ferreting as you know mate,hope shes not a shiverer :D

 

 

I wasn't suggesting she was mate, but i bet in the future you will get folk asking if she is a pup out your other dog! In my opinion they make ideal ferreting dogs, and with the work take to the game very well, their small size, good initial pace and great nose means that they are very handy about the holes. Natural markers, mine doesn't shiver, has exceptional prey drive. My one complaint against the breed is they can be moany little b*****ds :laugh: They have great personalities as well. Also like i said - underrated, mine retrieved his first fox (a large dog) at about 10 months.

 

I quite like cass, or meg/star/strike/moss/milly/mini/ etc But cass is good.

I know what yer saying about folk asking if its her pup etc,wasn,t yours struggling a bit with the retrieving due to the size,what height/weight is yours ?
