Once you tell the police the guy attacked you and you defended yourself with the bat they can check local hospitals to see if anyone has been in for treatment. Don't do a Tony Martin and admit attacking once they were already leaving I think he's already admitted that. Can't say I blame him, if someone tried stealing my dog I'd be reaching for the shotty, but the law won't see it that way. There's too much of it going on, where are all the dogs going? My mate lost a lurcher a few weeks ago, she was a pet, not a working dog, and some thieving c##t had her away. She was spayed and chipped too. There were a load of dogs found dumped at Heathrow a few days ago. this is just a random thought but a x-racing greyhound i walk for a elderly couple who did a bit of coursing in her day (shes a elderly old girl now about 8 or 9) has a tatoo on the inside of her leg. Just out of curiosity would doing this deter theives accompanied by a sign saying all dogs tatooed and microchipped? I know ive heard of dogs with ear tatoos having there ears cut off but on the inside leg, surley they cant do anything about that microchips can be removed really?I am talking in theory here, could they remove a inside leg tatoo? i supose they could scribble it out but surley the combination of microchipping, tatooing and a sign would make people think f**k it this is more hassel than its worth Sorry to say the only thing that will stop scum stealing dogs is to chop both fekin hands off or even better leathel injection. I suggest a PM to established members or Mods in the relevant section to check their "previous" and anybody foolish enough to think about dealing with unknown folk surely knows the risks involved.
