Guest Ditch_Shitter
Partially dependant on what sort of springs for what sort of traps, mate. I'm now gutted, because only the other night I deleted as 'no longer needed' the addy of what seemed like a Great company of all round Spring Makers! I found them after a hard and determined search of Google. But they are out there. Ask Google for SPRINGS, if no one else yet pops up to direct ye. Place I found Really knew their springs and could probably bore for England talking to ye about the Exact requirements ye may have. Either way; Best of luck and do let us know how ye get on Quote Link to post
john b 38
On cage traps I quite often use larsen springs - not very elegant but it's what I had in the shed ..... Quote Link to post

john b 38
Yes Moley - usually peg them down too. Although a few on mine have a pivoted strip of mesh along the bottom edge of the door - this falls down and lodges in the bottom and helps 'lock' the door shut. Mind you even with the spring it isn't fool proof. I had a rat in one once and he was belting round climbin all over the inside of it really fast, like they do. Anyway - don't know what I was thinking but I stood it up on the back end - door upwards held shut the spring. The little sod climbed up and his body weight opened the door enough forhim to get out Quote Link to post
