first purse net

this is my first time ever tryin to make a net meshes are a bit big what size boards do you use? and what do you think its hemp

I use a 2" mesh stick giving you 4" meshes, alot better in my eyes, dont have to re-set nets if ferrets are in and out the holes mate

21/4" board 41/2" mesh you can chin them in the net,put another net on and take the rabbit out while your waiting for the next rabbit

Agree your meshes are nt all the same size yet but doubt anyones first few nets were perfect,nice start just keep practising and try garden twine till you ve got the hang of it. They make rubbish nets but its cheap as chips to buy and then go on to hemp or whatever twine you get on with

Does any one know were I can get bright nets from I mean yellow red or dare I say pink seen them in pics but never have been able to find them ??
