gnasher16 30,469
I dont understand Arsene Wenger....for years he has set his teams out to play the " beautiful game " and play fast attacking football.....so why did he go against his own principals and set out to park the bus against Barcelona....i thought he let himself and the club down. No doubt about it Barcelona are far superior but in a one off cup tie anything can happen as the first leg proved....cup football is not about who the best team is its about who can win the tie as Mourinho proved time and time again. If you ask any Arsenal fan if they could have had their centre forward with virtually an open goal with 2 minutes to go to win the tie, they would have bitten your hand off....and thats what they had with Bentner!.....Arsenal were one kick away from going through.....if they had played their natural attacking game who knows what would have happened.
