It is titled Dogs. Seems to have helped this bloke out, i would try this if i get any problems with my pup in the future. Neil. Edited March 9, 2011 by neilnbeanie Quote Link to post

BIG ZOOK 5
IMO,starting a pup on rabbits at 8 months is 2 early. If you do decide to continue? .If ,lamping :you could shoot the close/squatters with an air rifle then slip the dog. But, beware the first few unfruitful runs, can ruin a pup and cause it to open up. baldockbanks courser 598
to be honest I assumed you ment droppers. 8 month pup could struggle on lamp on clued up rabbits. its a shame its illeagle to do droppers. Quote Link to post
darbo 4,776
some dogs are slower than others but do learn. it is still only very youngdog give it time.when having a young dog i would bounce a tennis ball across a hard surface. i think it helps with the pups eye mouth co ordination when trying to snatch a hard bounced ball. samba 534
give her time she will soon pickup Quote Link to post
fensaluki 35
As said mate she is still pleanty young enough. If you have access to a good safe dog that will not run into others slipp her in beside it for a couple.this can soon sharpen them up but be sure its a safe dog the last thing your pup needs is a collision. Also dont do this to often as the pup can become dependant on running with another dog which coould bring you back to square one but it sure can help sometimes. ATB Quote Link to post
maitland93 13
A wouldn't run a dog that young and like said above throw a tennis ball for it, a didn't run mine till a year old, let a pup be a pup well that's my opinion. Also if you do run it it will learn alias of an experienced do, mines spot on but still learning a load off older. Dogs Quote Link to post
swagboy 9
hold her back for a week or to dont let her run eney thing and when you think she is ready then slip her on a swoter and get a ded rabbit and let her rag it in the pen Quote Link to post
