andyfr1968 772
Hi, folks. Has anyone else had any problems with them recently?? I've been useing them very happily through my .20 HW90 for the last three years or so but the last box I bought was full of duff ammo. It looks as though the skirt is uneven and the bloody things just fly all over the place. I've probably gone through at least 10 boxs of them and have never even had to discard a single duff or damaged pellet before and now I've got a box full.... Anyone else, or have I just been unlucky?? Cheers. Quote Link to post

pianoman 3,587
That's really good of you Bob. I was with Andy on my permission when this matter came to light. It was a new batch of these pellets and the shots were grouping very poorly from both of us trying Andy's HW90 gas ram at a 35 yard target. We checked the rifle, butt to muzzle, thoroughly and even changed scopes and still to no avail. These have proved excellent pellets for Andy's HW90 in the past and, having shot them myself with this rifle before, I was very impressed with their accuracy and consistencies at the targets we shot them to. Hope you can help. Thank you Bob. All the best. Simon Quote Link to post
Marksman 934
I used them in my S10 with amazing results mate then got a new pack one week and not 1 would fly straight or hit the target within the killzone, switched to defiants and FX and never looked back mate Darryl Quote Link to post
andyfr1968 772
Thanks for the replies, fellas. Bob, that's a very kind offer but TBH I've lost a little faith in them. I'll send you back the few that I have left as most of them just got slung away in frustration but I do have some left that were in my jacket. Darrly, if you've had the same problem as me then I guess it's not just a one off then. What caliber do you use, mate? Cheers. Quote Link to post
Marksman 934
.22 Andy.....was definately a funny one to explain.... Darryl Quote Link to post

andyfr1968 772
.22 Andy.....was definately a funny one to explain.... Darryl Yes, it had me and Simon scratching our heads too, we were convinced it was a scope problem as we'd gone through all the useual stuff and it all checked out fine. The pellets worked very well indeed before so we'd no reason to suspect they were at fault. It wasn't until I swapped scopes with Simon that it became apparent. I've not had chance to set my kit up with the Baracuds that I know it shoots very well with 'cos of the wind we've had this week but I'm out tommorow so I'll set it up then and post the results. I know it may well have been a duff batch but I've really lost confidence in them.... Cheers. Quote Link to post
clubshot 22
Monitor most Air Gun Boards Not often to read issues of Damaged Pax Pellets As made on Single Dies from quality Wire - not often a issue Was a issue a few years ago - with ex employee BOB/R Quote Link to post
andyfr1968 772
I've been over to Simon's again today and set the gun up with Baracuds with no problems at all so it can only have been a bad batch of ammo. I used my Walther scope that was our first suspect before and it's fine, which is a relief 'cos I really can't afford a new one right now. Thanks for the offer, Bob, that was very kind of you but having slept on it I think I'll pass, I've really lost faith in the Dynamics now and don't want any more. Cheers. Quote Link to post
