English red deer are suposidly bigger than scottish red deer, why? Because English red deer were/are suposidly crossed with Elk(wapiti) to give bigger size, which would make them hybrids? which creates the question, are we talking about a single dog pulling a red/elk hybrid or a red deer? :whistling:

 

It's to do with the grazing and good feed matey. :thumbs: Take a southern red to scotland and within a generation or two there will be no discernable difference. Sure there is wapiti blood in SOME southern reds, but only those in certain areas i am lead to believe.
