brawdogs 0
Can anyone tell me the best way to rehome a working lakeland which has been out of work for the last 3 years living in a house? She desperately wants to work and unfortunately isn't with the right people in order for her to do this. She is 5 years old and dressed. Cheers Quote Link to post

Reddog83 4
If she is 5 and been of work for 3 years she ain't seen much sure some one will have her to breed of on here tho you want to give her to a old man or women so the dog ain't passed from pillar to post or to some one who you no personally will give the dog a fair try mate and not sell on or left to rot in a kennel as it dose happen I bet there's hundreds of dogs belonging to members on here just rotting in the back yard so the owner can say ... I got a working terrier .. Wats never bin walked never mind worked Quote Link to post

fresh earth 47
For starters read the post the bitch is NEUTERED so there would be little chance of anyone breeding from it for any reason never mind money... Secondly the dog is 5 and as said if it has seen no work for 3 years then what would be the point in now starting the bitch working ? Most dogs be it terrier or other breed would not make the grade as a working dog so i would keep the bitch as a pet as realy she would be little use for anything more than bushing if that at all so there is a high chance she will not be kept on if she is no use so she should be kept as what she knows.
