secretagentmole 1,701
The T stock whilst not being the most beautiful is the most useful, it is an ambidextrous stock, which means that you will be able to sell it to left or right handed shooters when you decide to get a new one... murph81 6
Yeah, I definitely want function over form, I'm going to be shooting it, not looking at it after all! I'm going to go with the .22 aswell, I don't think I'd like the .177 when its windy. Quote Link to post

Over here with our piss poor power limit personally I prefer the smaller calibers. Wind come and goes but gravity is a constant Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
Which ever one you chooce you will love it pal. I have now had a HW100KT - .22 HW100T - .177 and i know own a HW100 S - .177 and they are all awesome rifles. I wouldnt get too hung up on the wind issue pal as the wind effects .22 as well but not to the greater degree as the .177. That said you still need to aim off with a .22. I think that you will d really well with a .22 calibre mate and mine used to love FX 16 grain pellets. For a bit of friendly advice though i would think about getting a laser range finder and Hawke scope with a SR reticule, either a SR 6 or SR12 if you like the higher mag. These 2 items will complement to .22 HW very well and double or even treble your shot to humane kill ratio. ATB Si Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
If you check my last hunting thread you will see that a decent pellet (in my case the Crosman Premier Ultra Magnum), the Hawke SR scope (in this case the SR6), range finder and the HW100, makes an effective killing machine at 50 metres!
