hunter1989 91 Posted March 7, 2011 Report Share Posted March 7, 2011 hi all my brother invited me for a shoot on his new permission last night. he was using his new ultra.22 and i was using my as400k.177 after a cuppa and quick run though regarding the boundaries we set of. it was not active for the first 20mins,then i spotted one making a sly run for it,i watch him though my scopes then he stop,then thwack he waved good bye when i went to recover my kill another one ran out around 15 yards in front of me all i heard was a whistle past me followed by a thwack another in the pot. after that not much out really the odd few but to far to risk a clean kill so that was that we also went out this morning as me and hayley stayed last night, a few pigeons were dropped but could not recover as the bushes they fell into had crap loads of thorns but we did watch a buzzard in action and wow it was class it came down for some kind of food my quess is a mouse and flew right over are heads what a sight but was a good day done some zeroing at different ranges with good results, the sun was also out i could of layed on the grass all day but the day came to an end but next time im sure will be better as we sussed out most of the main warrens and the bolt holes here the pics first one where it dropped second where it dropped my brother s400k and ultra in the woods atb steve Quote Link to post
