Mother and Daughter

Only took the two out today as Luna is still laid up with her leg.

Rogue is coming up to 5 months now and is catching up fast height wise with Gyp (7 in July)

Struggle to tell them apart from a distance sometimes.

Pups looking well mate my crush has stuck at 19" for a while now slowed right down with her groing and not much knuckle left so dont think she will be to big ill get a few piks up of her. How big would you say yours is now.

Thanks for the comments lads and Shazza.

Be good to see some up to date ones of Crush. Rogues 20" now and 32lb, back end is still high compared to her front - so I'm guessing she's got abit more to go - she enjoys running with the other dogs and having a play - being abit ignorant here but what do you look for when you talk about having lots of knuckle or not much knuckle left (I know its to do with growing) but not sure how you'd determine how much is left to go etc?:icon_redface:

just the knuckle above the foot at the front its more pronounced with bigger dogs that have alot of growing iv never taken any notice of it before to be honest but a few of the older blokes i go out with were on about it. She is a bit bigger at the rear than the front so like your self i think she mite go another few inches. She is always wanting to run in circles the now constantly so i tend only to let her of when im out with her herself as she has run into one of my others a few times and gave her self a sore one. Recon she will be near the 30lb mark aswel.

how you find the grews working wise? got whip grey myself next season she will hopefully be ready

I can only speak from my own experiences but I can't fault them, hence why I bred my bitch with something similar - just the once to have a pup off her - as I've said before if this pup turns out half as good as her mum I'll be over the moon. Fields are pretty small around us - so for take off speed, turning ability etc I can't fault them. Go for hours with big hearts, pretty fearless and will have a go on anything (preban). My old bitch now has had a few injuries - ripped belly on barbed wire and had to have a toe off but apart from that nothings gone wrong with her in 7 years - so I don't thinks thats too bad going from an injury point of view. Hope you have as much enjoyment out of yours as I have with mine.

i have the cross just for a bit size for when im out mooching as all my whippets are 20" or bellow and iv tried lurchers of all sorts but dont have a constant supply of work for the bigger breeds. Also enjoy a bit of racing so a bit of fun in the summer at the same time. Pups turning out cracking realy switched on and hell of a fast for her age so we shall see how she works next season. Her sire owned by whipxgrey above is more than capable both out in the field and on the lure and as you can see from his avatar he retrieves aswel. Crush is coming on and ov no doubts she will do as i expect of her next season.
