big pike in the river tees

was out walking along the river tees inbetween croft and hurthworth seen a bloody big pike easy double figures

I do alot of fishing on the tees and there are some good fish to be had my biggest is 24LB and my mate has had a 28lb,but it can be hard work and you have to put the hours in will try and put pics up soon.

 

I would be intrested to hear from anyone else fishing the tees and what you been catching ? atb

alright a fishing the tees for chub and barbel from high conny right the way down to low dinsdale and there are soon good swims a see alot of pike spesh round broken scar bit do you just fishing for pike ??

I mainly only fish for pike but have done abit of chub fishing on the tees and had them to around 3 lb.I mainly fish the lower tees around yarm and thornaby but have had a few sessions up river,what size chub have you had?.Im thinking of targeting barbel this summer as ive never caught one and have heard theres some decent ones in the tees. atb

alright mate yeah there are lots of chub round the 3Lb mark my best on the tees is 4.4 Lb on the free strecth at blackwell big barbel down there as well fish haliult pellet or meat canrt go rong or big bunge of maggots on the stick float try over dinsdale or stockburn hall as well for barbel and chub tight lines
