Watching some clips on u tube today and this run stood out , a real good hare , and a real good run !

you really are a clueless twat . jut started lookig at these sites and im bored with novice ideots with big mouths already

fantastic run,, it doesent get any better than that!

This place is full of experts who like to shoot you down at every turn. Someone will put up a vid of some dog dead and buried and we are all meant to capitulate to it. Anyone who questions the run is shot down in flames. If you don't want mixed opinions on the subject, dont put up threads, simples.....

Did you mean capitulate or ejaculate?

Could be both but in the context of what I wrote.....

Capitulate...to surrender unconditionally or on stipulated terms.

ssshhh you'll spoil the image !!!!! where i live is all small field's and fence's and yes my fen dog's catch them on this land, but 9 times out 10 i only get to see the first 10 - 20 second's of the run, which is why we go to the big land !!! after all where's the "sport" if you don't see it ??

Well as someone who saw Lucky running in the flesh I don't need to speculate. I KNOW he was a great dog. Why weren't all these "better, faster" dogs competing in the finals against the likes of Lucky?

The owner of another great dog, Sniper, ran regularly with Lucky's owner and he told me that no matter how many hares the bitch he was running at the time killed in the course of a day out, Lucky would always take more. Here was a man who had won the Forley cup and run on all types of land and he was praising Lucky to the rafters.

Roll on the day when this ban is lifted and maybe some of these secret super dogs will come out from hiding and show the world of salukified lurcherdom where we've been going wrong.

LUCKY WAS A DOG, WE BOTH SEEM HIM RUN & I HAVE NEVER SEEN THAT CLASS OF ANIMAL SINCE. HOWEVER, HE WAS VERY UNLUCKY IN THE FORLEY. JOE T TOLD ME THAT HE SOMETIMES FELT LUCKY WAS THE BEST HE HAD SEEN,,HIS MOVEMENT BEHIND A HARE WAS UNCANNY

As the saying goes its "HORSES FOR COURSES" I've never been into coursing, but its not hard to understand that the the type of dog that busts a gut getting upto things wouldnt last a run on the fens in the winter, but on the other hand a dog that sits back and works its hare well, grinding it down, wouldnt catch a cold in the smaller fields that are surrounded by cover etc and then you will get your dogs that will put an ok performance in no matter where they run this would be the type of dog i'd prefer.

As long as the animals your feeding are doing what YOU require them to do why give a f**k how anybody elses dogs perform.

By the sounds of things Lucky obviously excelled at the job he was bred for, bitter c**ts crabbing the dog how many dogs have you owned that you would say excelled at thier jobs the way this dog did?

lucky was only anygood on the fens. MYTH

Tommy b matched him round my way years ago. Archie was there helping spoting for his uncle tommy. arch told me 1,2,3 dog was the best dog they ever matched and they matched the best nuttal included.

One of the hares got up and run towards a horse paddock, they couldnt beleive it when marcus slipped on the hare let alone whe lucky jumped the fence and boxed and killed his hare inside it. why crab a dog just because on video hes seen on the fen.
