wcs tube trap / Kanias

Recommended Posts

beats me these prices, in the US you can buy wcs tube traps for $19 or about £15ish, over here they are £50, i know theres export and shipping charges , but bloody hell, they are expensive

Dont quote me on this, but i think the tube trap for the UK market isnt the same as the one used in the US. Probably a spring change or something.

Import duties + shipping costs + some profit for bothering etc all adds up!

If these traps are so unaffordable, why not ask "logun" to make you some for £2.99 each inc P+P

el john with cost of steel at the mo the cost gone up to £3 now mate.but yes thats all it costs to make them and as good as ,if not better

something that makes me smile though is that some dont like the fact that i can make the same type producy for peanuts.

ive sent a few out free to some as i have with all my traps, and some to be sent out soon.maybe its a case that some can only make money out of traps and aint the hands or the common sence to make they own.look at the tube trap.shit when you think of it.but why spend £50 when you can do it for next to nowt.another thing that makes me piss myselfe is that some of the so calledtop trap men on here rely on the yanks to send they ideas over.top trap men and the couldent even design or make a basic mouse trap lol makes you piss yoursefe.

logun, i honestly couldnt give a shit what you want to make, give away, whatever, i DO NOT SELL TRAPS

but dont presume that you are the only fella on here that can knock a nail in ;)

Moley, i havent a clue what the mark up is on these traps, but i doubt it is as much as you would think when all is costed in.

john to be honest mate i dont give a shit what you do.but why have a little piss take of me as you offten do.i dont give you no grief.and i expect the same .each to they own ok .end of.

havn,t a clue meself , but when i looked into trading a few years back the mark up on most stuff was 60-70%, i,ll let you do the sums

50-60% markup is what most business would look to make on retail.

I wouldnt take on products to sell if they were any less than 45%, its just bad business and you have to work a fooking lot harder and sell more stuff to make a living. Cause after all thats what people go into business for, to make a living.

How much do you think it costs a manufacturer to make a car? Or a gunmaker to make a gun?

How much do the retailers sell them for? ;)

so the uk version of the wcs tube trap costs about £25 each to make ? i find that a bit hard to believe, but if thats what people want to pay , its up to them, i wouldn,t pay that much

As i said i dont know what the markup is, but i wouldnt be suprised if after they have been bought, shipped, customs tax/import duty what have you, that they cost the importer that, yes.

edit: slap some VAT on for good luck at 20% too

Yes, the VAT is a huge part of it. On the traps we ship to the UK, VAT would add more to the final cost of the traps than shipping and customs combined.

Here in the USA, I collect 8.25% state sales tax on sales within my own state of California, and no sales tax at all for the traps we ship to other states. I don't know how you Europeans tolerate that 20% sales tax.

Have you heard the term rip off britain?

Because we are like sheep, we let the government dictate to us how much we pay them, so they can waste it on shite.

You US fellas would shit yourselves if you saw how much we pay for petrol (gas)

I saw a bit on cbs evening news last night, and there was a fella on there moaning about how much it cost for a gallon. Approx £2.17 a gallon you pay, we pay approx £6.50 :icon_eek:
