Hunter 11 0
Hi. Im getting a new gun soon the Weihrauch HW95k and was wondering if anyone had any advice on the best pellets to use with the gun for general pest control such as rabbits, crows, pigeons, squirrels and rats and which calibre .177 or .22 Thanks Quote Link to post

secretagentmole 1,701
Having been told many times and having now shot with them, you will not go far wrong with AA Field pellets in which ever one you take, I now prefer .177 as it is a flatter trajectory, also the faster speed of it means the prey has less time to move! zini 1,939
My old .177 HW95k barrel liked AA Field pellets. My .22 HW95k liked AA Fields, FX 16 grain pellets and RWS Super Fields. The best was the RWS Super Fields by a slight bit. For a general purpose rifle my personal choice would be .22 calibre mate especially if I was going to be doing more day time shooting than night time shooting. Both calibres will kill humanely though pal it's just down to personal preference. Si Quote Link to post
