Everybodys got a different opinion on what lamp but for me its a clusion (lazerlight) wired straight through to a motorbike battery. If your going to do the same just make sure you wire a fuse in somewhere along the line to avoid problems.

I HAVE recently ordered a blazerlight (2 million candles instead of 1 million) reflector and bulb that im going to give a whirl and a blue filter and a green filter, iv already got a red filter. The thing with filters is they cut the beam down which is why i ordered the 2 mill convertion.

All boils down to budget mate, battery wise you get could a 17amp buggy battery for abour 50 quid, or spend a couple of hundred on a lithium. Lampwise the nightstalker range is good, their striker equivalent is cheaoer and in my opinion a superior lamp, i also have a blitz, and there are the dogs danglies..........

lightforce striker.. take 100W bulb out..replace with 12v 30watt.. perfect for bunnies and not so bright it lights the whole bloody field up.. put the big bulb in if you go on the big fields.

i would like to try a blitz with the 30 watt bulb as a matter of interest..I think it could be the perfect set up.

I have learned this from my own experience as i always used a striker with the normal 100 w bulb it came with..but since using the 30W it has changed my way of lamping and improved my catch rates... 100w shows them the way..30w guides em. there will be them that disagree..but all i will say is try it for yourselves and see.

Go on ebay you can get a lamp for 30 or 40£ then get a JCB 17 ah battery they give you 14 volts instead of 12 it makes loads of differance its as bright as being plugged in the fag socket of a car .I use one and it lasts all night with a 2 million candlepower 100watt bulb.
