bobslurchers 1
I have finally found a dog, after being mucked about by a few people I have now gotten a new lurcher. He is an adult from a pet home who was finding his lurcherness too much for them. Tag and collar in the house is just temporary till he settles. I am guessing he has collie in him, but they just said he was a lurcher. Ideas please? Edited March 3, 2011 by bobslurchers Quote Link to post

scalesntails 118
id say theres a bit of saluki in him was just going to say this. Body and head shape is almost identical to my 1/4 saluki 1/4 whippet 1/2 greyhound. Mine is brindle but I like the colour of yours more. Out of interest how high is he? Guest thebigdog
nice dog pal, good luck with him Quote Link to post
bobslurchers 1
Thanks, he is a very strong dog when he wants to be. My collie guess was purely down to his colouring, assuming he was a merle. I wondered saluki but ive never seen one with anything close to his colouring. He is around 25"TTS, but he wasnt sure about the tape so he may be slightly taller. Edited March 3, 2011 by bobslurchers Quote Link to post
