whip x grey 276 Posted March 4, 2011 Report Share Posted March 4, 2011 ull never get the fastest whip/grey,s in the contry,,,,showing up as may - to july.....there,s the championships/ english derby/ and scottish derby me and bro did take part at kirkcaldy lurcher racing two dog knock out and did well or won,,,,,great idea as it promotes stamia in breed as its not for the faint hearted ,,,,ie if 100 dogs take part but if u want to keen on the best in breed ,,,,any non ped club will throw away the traps and race any on the slip ,,,weather racing on 200yards or even 500 yrds ,,,its been done before,,,i for one had supreme scottish lurcher racing champ,,,at 11 months old ,,,,160 dogs ,,,9/10 races that day to eventally get to final to win ,,1988,,,,no mean feet for any non ped,,,reseve ( runner up next 2 years,,,a very big thing back then but this ,,,best non ped i,e ( best whip / grey can be proven on the track at any club ),,,,,,there was 1000 guinness race down london way last year , non ped won ),,,,,if u want to beat the best,,,,non ped world will be more than happy ,,,,trap or not ,,,as they dont care,,,,but are the fastest by a football feild to any breed whip x greys they are the best by a long shot when a race in concerned,,,,,slip or put dog in trap atb bob Quote Link to post Share on other sites
chartpolski 25,315 Posted March 4, 2011 Report Share Posted March 4, 2011 As WxG has said; I doubt you will get the fastest Non-Peds turning up, as all the BWRA/NWRF dogs will allready have their season planned, but well done for promoting Non-Ped racing, they realy are something special to watch over the shorter distances !
