Dan37 6
I have spent bit of my life travelling across North Africa, and saw some of the guys out there working Azawakh dogs - a very lean, very hippy (i.e. raised back and pronounced hips) sighthound. They were bloody fast, very rugged, always seemed to have stamina to burn and had a huge prey drive. I always thought they would make a good lurcher (they hate the cold apparently so would have to be crossed with something with a bit of a coat I guess) and was wondering if anyone had heard / seen a lurcher with this breed in it working - how did it do and what else was in it? just out of interest really - they are beautiful dogs and was offered one at the time but getting it back would have been such a pain in the arse I didn't take it - shame really Dan Quote Link to post
