matt_hooks 188 Posted March 2, 2011 Report Share Posted March 2, 2011 Actually depends on what the seals are. Are they natural rubber, or are they nitrile? The silicon grease should do the job ok, but only a very light smear, otherwise you risk attracting dust and dirt, which can score the metal. I have used a graphite spray before on bolts, which is dry and works very well. Quote Link to post
