darbo 4,776
good ones can make decent rabbit dogs day/night. good ferreting dogs take occassional hare. its the lurchers produced from them can make good allrounders. Quote Link to post
Alfieb 0
never seen a proper 1 run only seen one hacock pup run red hot on the rabbit Quote Link to post

darbo 4,776
the more you move away from a first cross 50% collie. hopefully the less a dog will start to pick its runs. have owned 1/2 cross that never picked its runs and im sure other people have. but i admit i have seen it with some 1/2 crosses. i had in the past collie/lurcher cross saluki lurcher great prey drive. very good on rabbits/hares preban. TOMO 26,175
theres some cracking half crosses around,, that do well at the rabbit game,,, but if you want an all rounder i think like some of the others,, best of with a bitsa type with a bit of collie,,, not 50%. Quote Link to post

3 Turns 326
3/4 GREW X 1/4 COLLIES ARE TOP DOGS IF THEVE GOTTA GOOD STAMP OF PARENTS. 1/2 SALUKI X 1/2 GREWS ARE JUST AS GOOD. Quote Link to post
Guest TERRIERCENTRAL
Agree with 3 turns first cross saluki greyhounds are great all rounders on all quarry like the look of 1/4 collie 3/4 greyhound tho but would like more info on this cross Quote Link to post
