SKA 18
Years ago my JRT was bashed up by 2 boxers when she was a small puppy, we were walking through the woods, she was doodling along behind me and they came running up from behind and bowled her over, she was never ever the same after, aggressive and nervous around strange dogs! it only takes one incident to f**k a decent dog up for life Glad yours are ok totally agree with you there my current lurcher pup got attacked by a staffie and alastaion when he was about 4 mts old he is 9 mts old now and his still weary of dogs now if any show any aggresion towards him hes off but he his loads better than he was

CarraghsGem 92
i was bitten at an agricultural show by a st bernard trying to attack my terrier bitch, i saw the st bernard going in for the attack and lifted her up by the collar into my arms and turned my back on the dog and he jumped up and bit my arm trying to get my terrier. i told the owner to leave the agri show with the damned st bernard immediately before i lost my temper , i was examined by the ambulance folk, lucky i was wearing a jacket or it would have been a bad bite, just a few small holes and a lot of bruising, my terrier bitch then went on to win the jack russel class less than 20mins later. JPTfellterrier 65
would of had my wellie firmly inserted up its arsehole if it had attacked one of my two. My lurcher is aggresive to certian degree but wouldnt go away from me. I only let her off the lead where there is no one about and i can see all possible dogs coming
JPTfellterrier 65
forgot to add, get the pup/dogs involved really socialising straight away as a similar thing happened to my dog which is what all her problems stem from
runforyourlife 361
My dogs have been started on a few times. Never got involved, dogs fight. Or they can run. Must be a lot of unstable minded dogs out there by the sounds of it. Its a lot worse when you see a dog cower when someone raises there hand!

Sorry mate but some dogs fight but mine dont, they didnt fight, my pup was attacked and luckily the stupid womans dogs didnt rip him or they'd be in a world of shit.... Its ok saying you dont get involved but thats because you have dogs that can handle themselves. If a couple of serious dogs steamed into your dog and were giving it a pasteing then you'd get involved.....

And i wasnt having a go at you, you handled it well. I'm putting my opinion across to those who are big and brave and saying what they would have done mate. Kicking dogs etc etc... P.s, my dogs are best mates but they have gone toe to toe over a big bone. Thats theiir place to sort it out, not mine .
