southcott 9 Posted March 2, 2011 Report Share Posted March 2, 2011 my little whippet x dislocated her little toe this morning, it was sticking out to the side , i just popped it back in, she made no fuss about it, and was sound again as soon as it went back. but about a hour latter it popped out again, ive given her some loxicom to help with any inflammation, how long would you lead walk her only ? and any thing else i can do to help. she is 18 mth old. Country Joe 1,411 Posted March 2, 2011 Report Share Posted March 2, 2011 hi ya mate I rested her for the rest of the season and treated it with bone radial and with a bit of luck and lots of road walking she ran again,she never coursed competitively again but she ran the fens really well,cheers This advice came from a well known working whippet owner.
