start them with small heights @ feeding time, then gradually increase the height, when teaching to jump fences i always start by laying something over the fence, i.e an old bit carpet or even a jacket as a pup seems to have more confidence jumping solid objects than ones they can see through.

This dog was just a natural jumper, some are some aren't that's the way it is sometimes. Wouldn't reccomend jumping high obstacles at

such a young age but it can be done. Oh just remembered I'll have to "stop talking shit" and go and get more helium for the dogs tea tonight.

At the moment my Trevor cannae jump fae toffee   the silly basstard cut his season short due to chasing a bunny on the lamp which went through sheep netting into the next field me mates whippet pulled up Trev carried on and sailed over the fence.... or so I thought next day giving him a bath he flinched checked underneath he had a 3" tear in his chest right to the chest flesh looked like a paunched rabbit  cleaned him up and patched him together he's healing amazingly quick but he's obviously not the jumper I thought he was yet

My 22" beddy/whippet started off by jumping the stair gate in the house... He then moved on to jumping the garden gate, then the 6ft garden fence at the old address... (Not in a single bound, obviously!)
