Simoman 110
For me the true test of a terrier is DIGGING, plain and simple. However foxtrack you seem to be attacking terrier owners who enjoy ratting. You tell them not to post and keep it to themselves, I have posted photos and threads after ratting as to be honest my permission is mainly rats and there are many members on this site who regularly post good ratting threads, don't try and cause diversions in terrier owners and when you own this site then you can dictate what can and can't be posted. If you want to improve the quality of the posts then how about a few threads and photods about your digging exploits???? Edited February 3, 2007 by Simoman Quote Link to post
scotrat 2
Foxtrack each to there own thats what I think I myself don't like digging to be honest I would rather shoot charlie.I don't think that just because my black dog hasn't been to ground with charlie she isn't a worker.I have kept her away because I keep her for rats and finding shot roe deer and don't want her disappearing down an earth whilst looking for a shot deer. I think that ratting is more exciting than having to dig down to a baying terrier och OK I am too bloody lazy Quote Link to post
Guest shay
This thread could and will go on and on and on, which is all the more reason to have two sections, above and below, the two will never ever compare in a million years, any digging terrier worth its salt will take in its stride a days ratting, you couldn't get a ratting/bushing terrier to do a digging terriers days work could you now. IanB 0
Lets start different lurcher sections for deer, fox and rabbit....don't want them poxy rabbit catchers in the same category....lets start a separate section for snares, then traps, then didgery doos...come on who gives a toss, WORKING TERRIERS...rats, rabbits, fox...ok there different quarry and you require a specialist type for true earthwork...but surely them all being in the same section doesn't pose that much of a problem, does it????
