gav22 24 Posted March 1, 2011 Report Share Posted March 1, 2011 i have come across another dog that needs saved its a 10 month old lurcher and he has never seen the outside of a kennel he starting to get sores on his legs from laying in a ply box i took him out for a walk yesterday around the fieds and he is very clumbsy on his feet and was struggeling to run i took him out again today and think he has the makings of a good dog he walks to heel and if he gets a bit in front of me he stops and waits to i catch up hes very alert and had a go at a bunny today but had not a hope in hell of catching it he is well fed but is just stuck in the kennel 24/7 what do ya reckon i should do take it or try and get sombody else to take him its a waste of the poor things life stuck in the kennel Quote Link to post

fensaluki 35 Posted March 1, 2011 Report Share Posted March 1, 2011 I guess its your call fella....if you have the time,money,space and you fancy the dog then have a crack at it but if not don't feel as though you have to mate afterall you didn't breed it or buy it and stick it in that kennel so you shouldn't feel guilty if the dogs not for you. She turned out to be the best hunting up dog ive ever worked. I forged a really strong bond with her as well. gav22 24 Posted March 1, 2011 Author Report Share Posted March 1, 2011 i can afford to keep the dog if i take it and i will make space i dont have piles of money but i have enough i have took a dog on last summer and it was a wreak it had a enlarged heart it was kept in the same conditions the only different thing about it was it was starved im a bit weary of it being very clumbsy heres a pic of him its a bad pic cos i had to take a pic of the pic on my fone but ill get a few shots of him tomorrow with the camera Quote Link to post
