cdnhastings 23
Ive bought some from B & F, out of the three I bought , two ended up coming unstitched , and they were only the collars worn around the house. I called B&F , explained my situation, and they wanted me to pay the shipping to have them sent back, after I had paid the shipping to get them to the states. I like the couples they sent me, but their collars, 2 out of 3 failed and then had poor results in getting the situation resolved successfully. Last money I will spend with them. Quote Link to post

Gaz_1989 9,539
Strong Stuff all the way. Ive had a collar and lead off him in the past for my Dobermann. More than happy. Ive got an order being made by him now... 2" Camo Collar for Lurcher and 1" Camo Collar for Terrier with black leads made to the sizes I wanted all kitted out with subtle union jack badges. His customer service is great and you can request pretty much anything. You would pay strong stuff prices at most pet shops and they only last a few months if your lucky. Gaz Quote Link to post

Guest alcapone
Black Dog Trading - Traditional handmade collars, leads, harness www.blackdogtrading.co.uk i bought collars and leads off blackdog one time, spent a few pound with him, found him cheap, after a few months i found why? because it was shit. i like the old leather stuff,b&f do some nice stuff but its too expensive, glyn jones has been going a long time,i remember him in the 's,he took it up when the miners were striking to make a few pound and 30 odd year later he's still going strong, speaks volumes imo, fair play to you Glyn. quality leather at the right price,i still have 2 sets of couplings i bought off him at least 15yr ago, cleaned and oiled regular they will out live your dogs.
