Rabbithunter 456
i always use the lightforce blitz. the lightforce striker is a good all-rounder though. I had one or two faults with mine though, one was the factory fault, the others were my own ie; not using the right size crimp for the cable. If i were to ever acquire another lightforce i would re-wire before i even used it just to be safe

SeanTheHawker 0
iuse to clulite set up, and works really good, comign to the end of my first season with it, outa few nights a week, battereditof gates and allsort, and works fine, never had the woring go either. love the way it is jackplug and not those shitty cigareete thingys. my mate who goes out with me used a striker, its a great beam, but i rarely use it cos you never know where it cuts out. Guest Ditch_Shitter
Oldschool; It's the 'ShootaLite' Dean has, mate We were examining fields far farther out than I'd ever want to take that shot ~ because, at such a distance, my old eyes just wouldn't be able to plainly make out a damn fox! It's impressing the hell out of Dean and it certainly made my eyes widen too! I'll be up for one. I'm no good at running electrical repairs.
Guest oldskool
yea it looks the biz DS... the sl2 shootalite is the one i want and at 55 quid its the same price as the blaser anyway and with the 55watt bulb instead of the 100watt it will be less thirsty on juice!! the ball joint filters are cheaper too and they come with a gun mount and handle included... i cant understand why its not more popular??? witton 6
Iv got a clulight its a brilliant lamp for its size, lightforce are not as reliable but have better beams. Im not to fond on the spread on the cluelight, i would preffer it to be abit tighter but saying that i still use it every night im out. Brilliant lamp for size, reliability, and performance. Ideal poaching lamp, fits into a decent sized pocket and is easily carried or hiden if the need arrises. When im abit older and have permision i will get a lightforce striker and just re wire it, from what iv seen of them when lamping with tomo the beams are a fair bit better than the clulight lamps. Guest oldskool
got a reply there from arthur carter!! he says the shootalite has only one switch and its not on the lamp but on the switch that attaches to the stock of the gun.... its still easy enough to use as a hand-held lamp and the range is fantastic in the sl2 model (1mill cp)!!! i think its the fact that the switch will flap and fanny about when your trying to hold on to the dog whilst trying to find the switch with one hand that puts people off... why oh why can the b*****ds not just make the blaser/laser with an adjustable beam... my life would be sooo much easier
Guest Ditch_Shitter
" The switch will flap and fanny about ". OS; As I unserstand it mate, the 'Thumb Switch' with the ShootaLite comes with a sticky pad. Ye just position this on the left side of ye grip - on the rifle. As I did with the Lazers on my old guns. Why not stick it instead in a comfortable position on the 'handle' of the lamp? No personal experiance with the set up. Just seems an idea.
