Okay forget he's on over a hundred grand a week. He took an air rifle into his place of work and accidentally shot a student part-timer there because he had no idea it was loaded.... He took an airgun

What a compleat f'in prick this man is.. Off all the people, a high profile footballer.   The club will say he had permission to shot there, wont they.   The lads no dout been bunged a packet.to k

WTF?

This just shows the mentality of these highly over paid pricks with ears

If it's false then he'll sue the bacside of the paper, if it's true then the dumb ass pratt wants prosecuting, remember it's a firearms offence and if he gets away with it then I am going to play up holey fecking hell with a couple of organisations.

Prats like that "Messing around" with an Air Rifle? He needs a custodial sentance if he's done it.

Sounds like he shot deliberately at the bloke, so the police should send round an ARV and arrest him, hopefully just before the next match is about to start!

I know, what sort of prick deliberately points an air gun at someone and pulls the trigger, whether it's supposed to be loaded or not...

The picture the daily mail are using doesn't look like an air rifle. Looks like it takes .22 bullets. Doesn't make any difference to the story just curious really.

That looks like a .22 rimfire in that picture..

The reporter is just using a stock photo of a rifle, with the usual level of investigative journalism showed in this country he has probably looked on an SMK retailers website at the cheaper guns and come up with the price. Shows what top quality reporters we have in the UK! I wonder if we could report Cole to the police for having a loaded firearm in a public area, obviously with intent to endanger life.

Any prat checks to see if the gun is loaded and no prat should ever aim a gun at a person, unless you mean to shoot them (like the burglar plinker)!

Funnily enough I thought that but didnt wanna post it.

I hope they test the rifle and it is FAC rated....then see what happens to the docile tw@t....possession of a class 1 firearm without an FAC (if he doesn't have one), keeping a class 1 firearm loaded when he "didn't know it was!" + a host of other "personal assault" charges

Bring it on!
