.22 ammo?

Recommended Posts

is there any type of ammo pouch or some such home made device for carrying 22 bullets when out hunting?I know this might seem trivial but when Im walking out I have found the box of 22 ammo rattles a fair bit plus trying to reload is a pain.Having to open the box every time to get a few out.I sucumbed to carrying them loose in my pocket but during the week the jacket was thrown into the wash and a bullet was found later rolling about in the machine. Her indoors did a bit of finger wagging(nothing unusual there)just wondering if anyone had a home made idea that might solve this problem or is there anything for sale in the gunshops that sorts out this.I asked in our local shop but they dont stock anything like this. Its not a big problem but just wondering if all you bright thinking :whistling::blink: people out there have a solution to this.I am using a glass casethe bag ith string on top at the moment, its ok but if you need to take a fast 2cd shot then its slow having to open the bag etc.I have a bullet holder on the 223 that sits on the butt of the gun,any thing like this for the 22? Im looking for some other method of carrying 22 slugs rather than in its box or loose in my pocket.Thank you prematurely.

I just kept asking around for secondhand mags for my gun till I had 5 10shot mags 1box of 50rounds fills them all and no messing about just shove another in the gun when I run out it also makes it a lot easier out lamping we only need stop every now and then to refill all the mags instead of every 5 mins.

jigsaw mate if you have one of those plastic ammo boxes like the cci rounds come in take out the bit in the middle with the holes that the rounds sit in and get a bit of that oasis stuff for holding flowers with cut it to fit in the box aand push the rounds in,it lasts a good while till you need a new bit
