aaronpigeonplucker 32
hi all, just read this: http://www.shootinguk.co.uk/news/514649/Air_rifles_must_be_locked_up_under_new_guidance.html do we need to store our airguns in a cabinet now??? ATB Aaron. Quote Link to post
bud 5
I don't think so, it does state 'Store your gun out of sight and separately from pellets' in the reasonable precautions section. I guess if you have children in the house then locking up is the best option. Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
Well no kids in our house so safe there, also 3 canine interceptor missiles, each equipped with ultra strong multiple point intruder deterrant locking systems operating at about 300psi, all are friendly except to intruders, the Labrador especially, the wife came in off the flat roof after clearing snow from the Sky dish last year to find a snarling, growling, set of teeth with raised hackles, narrow eyes and tail set down, scared the crap out of her, when he realised who it was he was completely friendly, but until then, the Hound of The Baskervilles is nothing to a ferocious Lab! The pellets are stored in the shooting bag, away from the guns, the guns are each in separate bags, hidden away, think I comply! Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
I'll folk out for a 7 gun extra deep cabinet after Canada . I intend to have about 4 or 5 nice rifles then anyway. Si Quote Link to post
olim 28
I have'nt heard about this yet, you would think that gun magazines would have published it These laws are getting silly now, off course you should store a gun safely but this law is too vague and a £1000 fine Quote Link to post
