helo everyone, i orderd one of those cheap bipods off ebay for my s410. mainly for plinking and messing around. came the other day and being the eager bever i am couldnt wait to to get cracking so no sooner had it landed on the matt, i had the stock in 1 hand and drill in the other! ohh dear.. anyway turns out i drilled the hole a few mill to far forward and the lip on the front of the s410 stock is just stopping it sitting flush. only a small gap but a crap job non the less  hopefully get out soon and have a mess around. be usefull while zeroing, testing different pellets etc. thanks for reading :thumbs:post-30362-0-91888500-1298657321_thumb.jpg

last pic is ready for a lamping session but i will be taking the bipod off if its not to much hassle. to heavy for standing shots.. cheers, Mick

P.S i hope the bipod is the right way around!

Dont listen to them mick, I have my bipod the same way round as you (the wrong way if you like  ). This aids my shooting as the leggs go forward leaving me to place my hand anywhere on the stock for standing and neeling shots

Sometimes its good to be different, great minds think alike

If it suits you thats what matters.

the bipod legs are supposed to point forward when closed, that way when they are deployed you can apply a small amount of forward pressure to lock the legs and aid in the stability of the shot, so theyre not in fact the wrong way round mate

How are them ebay bi pods guys, 22 quid quite fancy one!

cheers

karpman

theyre exact copies of the Deben/Harris pods and well worth the money mate.

I have a Deben pod on my S10 and an ebay one on the HW100 and there's NO difference whatsoever, I'd recommend them to anyone.
