Guest houndblair
Went out today on my permission at 8.30am netted up warren which produced two big bolters after about 15 mins of entering a ferret. But sadly one of the jills came out without its collar and i could not locate it so spent an hour looking for that but no luck yet Then we moved to a smaller burry but we made to much noise and no bunnys bolted even tho they were running round like mad and after about half an hour we could see the rabbit running around and the ferret after it the rabbit sat down at the mouth of a hole so we started to dig at the sides but the ferret got there and finneshed it of for us So we dug both out and collcted al lthe nets nad stuff, gutted the rabbits! We finneshed with 3 rabbits, one slipped! There was defenetly more about but being pissed of and digging for the collar e decded to call it a day and got to the pub! But apart from losing the collar (which im addement i will find again) it was a very good morning! Quote Link to post
mole trapper 1,693
bugger when it goes like that, i am looking at securing the transmitter collar better to the ferret, trouble is doing it in such a way as not to impede the ferret any more than a collar does normally, hmm.
