sako 23
Can anyone tell me which sako 22-250 this is and what barrel is on it? At a guess I think it would be a sako 85 hunter with standard barrel. Cheers Edited February 25, 2011 by sako Quote Link to post

sako 23
Im now begining to think it might be a 75, but I really didn't think I'd had it 5 years. Quote Link to post
DERBOY 18
nice scope their sako, 1 Quote Link to post
matt_hooks 188
I'd agree with the 75 idea. Certainly the stock checkering looks like the 75's I've seen (the S shape at the front and the shape on the pistol grip!) Quote Link to post

Certainly the stock checkering looks like the 75's I've seen (the S shape at the front and the shape on the pistol grip!) That's what I was going by. Any ideas on the barrel? It's gotta be a standard though I think. I want to know just to know about the weight of the gun before I buy a 204, as this 22-250 is pretty heavy with a lamp on the scope and add on atattched. sako 23
nice scope their sako, Yes I love the scope but to be honest I've only really looked through a S&B for the last 20 years and loved them to. I just thought it was time for a variable to zoom in on those trickier shots! Trouble is I cant stick the add on on this scope so need to find the right one for the 204. Any ideas? Zeiss is a maybe but I just dont know how they'll perform with the add on. I've seen all the lists but unless you actually try it yourself I'd be a bit hesitant. Quote Link to post
DERBOY 18
they are good got one my self on the 308. why not try one of the other models , you whant go far rong with swarovski, carl zeiss have recently released a duralyt range wich have had same good right ups so have a look at them. i haven,t looked through any of these with an add on only the nightforce but the cross hairs are abit to fine when adjusted to the add on , only thing to do is go to a shop wich stays open late and ask to have a look through a few, get a better idea then what you whant . sako 23
I just weighed that 22-250... 5.8kg and that's without the lamp and add on!I bet it's not that far from 7kg altogether. 0.600kg mono +dsa+lamp+switch and wires. Anyone know for a wheelbarrow with a quiet wheel to push it around in? Quote Link to post
