torchey 1,328
Just been given an old under lever elgamo target pistol as a little project..does anyone know where i can get a new spring and what sort of power it should produce..cheers... Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
Power for a non FAC pistol should be less than 6 ft/lbs. As for replacement springs, sorry, try a local gunsmith! Quote Link to post
andyfr1968 772
Hi, mate. Is this the one by any chance??? http://www.gunspares.co.uk/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=24255&cat=Falcon+Pistol They're a good little pistol but not very pokey, about 2 to 2.5 ft-lbs. Cheers. Edit to add.... I know it says ASI but they were made by Gamo. Same pistol. Edited February 25, 2011 by andyfr1968 Quote Link to post

A nice basic target trainer and plinker and that's about it. If you need a bit more poke you'd best look at something else. Webley Tempest or a BSA Scorpion may be a better bet and after thinking about what I said about the Gamo's power, TBH I was probably giving it more power than it will do. I'd say 2 at best. Phantom 631
Why would you wish to increase the power of a target pistol? I know the Falcon is capable of exceptional accuracy. I've seen a now deceased friend of mine put a one hole clover in a 10M target with the Falcon. We use that very Falcon in his memorial shoot contest. No ones ever managed the same with that gun. If you want to up the power of the Falcon, you will suffer accuracy wise Phantom Quote Link to post
