bobby-b 1
I’ve had a number of breeds but only recently got my first lurcher. He’s greyhound bull x greyhound collie, about 2 and half years old. Brilliant dog, Intelligent, Fast but doesn’t overshoot, Will not turn down anything, good day or night and good with the ferrets. only problem is with him once he starts to chase there is no stopping him regardless of what ends up in his way, Turn the lamp off if they get near a hedge etc and he’ll continue to course in the dark through the hedge etc. Many a time he's caught well after I’ve turned the lamp off. This isn’t such a good thing he did this with me the other night turned the lamp off then he carried on coursing straight through a load of bramble and a hedge and managed to slice his back hind just below the knee. I thought he had got his tendon at first and carried him home but he should be right as rain in a few weeks Quote Link to post
